This would be really useful. A broker will often get to the end of a quote with a client over the phone and want to go back over the answers given to confirm.

We have just started testing our broker site and totally agree with this.  Are there any plans to do this in the near future as we have seen other sites where they do provide this information.

    Many thanks

I'm guessing that this would be for answers provided, not for hidden questions...  Hidden question are sometimes created to show the intermediate calculation steps... and may not be appropriate for your brokers to see.  Am I right?

Just a question about going over answers with clients and the end of a quote...  Surely you would do this before finally submitting. As the reason you are going over the answers is to check they are right - and if not, to correct them?

    Hi John

Essentially what the client/Agent would see is the questions as they were at the end of the Get A Quote process.

So any questions that were not triggered (or hidden) during the Get a Quote process would remain hidden.  They would also not be editable.  It would basically be a snapshot of the Get A Quote screens when they hit Finish.

Agents may submit a quote but we may not get to discuss it with them for anything between a few minutes to a couple of days.  So for the Agent to have the questions and answers in front of them whilst discussing would be most beneficial.

    I hope that clarifies ?

    Cheers

I would agree that it would only be for questions that they have answered and not any hidden questions (or any hidden pages).  It would be useful for brokers particularly if they save the quote and then want to go in and buy at a later date so that they can check the answers (as read only) that are in there without having to re-quote.  It will also be useful if they have access to the questions and answers so that if the client wants them to confirm any answers once they have put the case on cover they can do so easily.

Another thumbs up for this.  What we currently do is have a "submitted details" document which is auto-generated when a quote is submitted so a *.pdf record of the questions/answers is automatically placed in the documents tab.  We find this works well for us.

Nicky - good to see another thumbs up for this.  Note your comments about a 'submitted details' document which sounds promising.  Just wondered how we get round the 'show/hide' questions or pages issues - we have quite a few pages or certain questions that are not relevant to certain cases so the broker never sees these - we would only want to detail on the document the ones that had been asked and answered.

These documents are created in the document editor with just the fields that you want to show - if you have hidden questions for rating purposes only these do not have to be included

Thanks but the problem is with the pages themselves - a lot of our pages are driven by professions so only one out of, say 17 bespoke pages, will need answering at any one time.  To code all the variations of the questions that are asked into one document sounds a bit complicated unless I am missing something?

I think if it were me, rather than code everything into one document which as you say would become complicated quite quickly, I'd be more inclined to create a variety of trade specific documents and have the rule select the appropriate document by cross referencing the trade in the question set.  That said, the ideal solution is this feature request going ahead, as then no documents would need to be created at all.

Nicky - thanks for that - as you say the feature request would be the ideal solution as there will be a lot of work in creating and maintaining trade specific documents.

    Hi John

Just wondering if there had been any progress with this feature request as our insurers were asking whether this functionality would be available any time soon when they visited us a couple of weeks ago.

    Kind Regards

    Amanda
