Headers and Footers in documents

I am trying to get my Headers and Footers to appear in the correct place in the PDF that is created.

 

Although you say to make your Headers and Footers 1200px in width, when a standard header or footer is placed in the document the max width appears as 720px in the code.

 

If I change this to 1200px then the Header or Footer cannot be seen as it is off the screen, so I played around with the numbers and found that 760px puts the Header and Footer in the correct place, however it doesn’t appear in the pdf.

 

I have taken the ticks out of the Standard header and footer check boxes as if you leave them in it creates a second piece of code to add the Header again at 720px.

 

Any ideas?

 

Also is there a way to change the margin at the top of each page?
