Can automatically generated documents be attached to emails? (Rather than requiring sign-in)
If we upload a document to the documents tab on a case then select it to be emailed, the document itself is not emailed but a link to the document is.
Is there something that can be done to attach the document itself to the email ?

I would add however that we strongly recommend against this. Encouraging new users to sign in to the site right away to see their documents will benefit you greatly over the longer term Natalie since users will realize there are benefits of signing in and will remember their passwords more easily having used them already. We understand that sometimes you may require the option to switch this off though, as per Colin's answer above.

Hi guys
Thanks for your comments. This isn't a template though, it is a one off document added to the Case documents tab, so editing it is not an option.
In this situation (and most) the mails go to the broker who pass them on to the client, so having them all in an email all ready to send is a major advantage. If I needed to send documents on to a client I would much rather have an email sent containing all the documents than have to log on to a site individually download and save documents, then attach to a new email....
So I am guessing there is no way to attach an uploaded document to the email?

Ah I see. Unfortunately there's no way to do this currently, you'd have to download the documents manually as you say and then attach to a new email. The alternative is to send them on to the Agent who could sign in and then send them on to the Client using SchemeServe? Or is there more to it than that?

No problem, thanks for the update. I think in light of this U-sure will not send any docs by email... i gave up trying to understand their logic a long time ago.
I may add this as a feature request though, seeing as the vast majority of our stuff is sent to brokers I could see it being handy to have.
Thanks for your help.
