How can the address lookup automatically close when an address is selected

How can the address lookup automatically close when an address is selected.

When the postcode is entered and the lookup is activated.. it should close when you select an address... can this be fixed please

Hi Brian,

This may be a browser issue - I have just tested in Chrome and Firefox and its fine - the list of addresses closes after selection - what Browser and version are you running ?

Hi colin

I am using IE* and some of our users have IE9.

It doesn't look good, and as the majority of "standard users" will have IE... this is a problem.

I did notice when creating a new agent that the address lookup works exactly as it should, so assuming you guys use the same functionality (epostcode) then why does the scheme act differently ?

Hi Brian,

Looks like it might be an IE issue only although it seems fine in version 7

Please promote this to a Support Ticket and we will undertake an investigation.

Just to clarify are you saying that after you put in the post code and then select the address that the list of addresses stays on the screen ?

It can't be IE8 or 9 as it worked within the agent creation screen...... my logic is struggling with this one !!

I have just re created this on your site in Chrome but on another site using the same question type the list closes - most strange

This is a bug so I will now create a support ticket for you and investigate further
