Could agents commissions only apply to new business and not adjustments
We place a policy on cover, the agents commission is 15%. We subsequently have talks with the agent and agree to raise their commission to 20%. We then do an adjustment on the agents client (which was rated at 15%) but when the adjustment is done it pulls the new commission rate across.
It would be really good if the system could freeze the commission on cases so when an adjustment is done the commission does not change.

I have just tried to re create this - changing the Agent Commission in the Agents screen does not effect existing case records. That rate is only read for new business.
So, if an Agent has Commission set at 30% on a Scheme where the standard Commission is 25% the 30% rate will get set.
On that new case record if the Commission is changed from 30% to 32.5% then the next adjustment that is processed will use the 32.5% rate
If on that adjustment the Commission was changed to 35% the next adjustment would use a 35% rate
That would seem to be the correct behaviour.
If the overall Commission for a Scheme is changed in the Agent this will not effect any existing records, only the next new case.
