    Hi Danny,

    This is a good idea.

How had you expected this to work?  Would there perhaps be a first column (1) for Registration Mark, which if included would force inclusion the other two columns, Manufacturer (2) and Model (3)?

Some users of SchemeServe might want other columns I suppose or you might want other DVLA supplied columns for other schemes, how would this choice be made?

    Best wishes,

    Hi  Adam,

yes that’s exactly how I would  expect it to work, but as the DVLA information sometimes differs it would also need to have the ability to be overtyped

    Thanks

Danny sent in an email with the following:

"I think in the same way now,  you could choose to have that as a definable column type ?

    Thanks

    Danny"

Sorry Danny, I'm not sure I follow... could you expand a bit?

So you have the option to add a DVLA table

First column would always be Registration, the corresponding columns would be user definable from the DVLA results fields ?

    Thanks

This sounds like a cleaner solution which wouldn't affect our existing table implementation.  Do you think we could come unstuck with certain schemes requiring custom columns in addition to the DVLA standard ones?  So, you might, for instance, want the user to enter something like "Last Serviced Date" manually in addition to the automatic columns?  Perhaps you would need this additional functionality?

    Hi Danny,

We can't always make promises about whether a feature will be included in a future release or give exact dates.

There are some really nice ideas in this request but it's not had a lot of votes yet from the community.

If you'd like to discuss other options please give me a call on the support line and we can go through in more detail.

    Best wishes,

    Adam
