Can changing the inception Date on a case/quote automatically update the InceptionDate field in the question set

We currently use an InceptionDate field in our question set to set the date required for references etc, but also for maintaining the original inception date of a policy.  Currently we can update this question if an inception date changes, this is done manually.

The next release shall prevent InceptionDate fields being manually updated once created. 

I would suggest that if we are unable to change this field manually can it be automatically updated when the actual inception date is updated.

  This is urgent now as binders are being renewed already and I need to update the Certificate References.  Is there any update on this please ?

  We will not be making any changes in this area.

  If the work around that you currently use is to put the original policy inception date in documents then you could try using ##[Policy.InceptionDate]## but that will be very first record so you could also use [Record.InceptionDate] if you want the one for the current year.
