Facility for Post Quote questions to affect premium

Currently only Quick Quote questions can affect premiums.

It might be desirable for Post Quote questions to do the same, therefore creating a 'refined quote'.

We would need very carefully to think about how information is fed back to the customer and how this affects the Get Quote flow in all situations.

Very interested in this - want to be able to offer a paper policy if they want it and to add extra £5 as a fee, may also be able to sell bolt on covers after the initial quote accepted

This would be extremely useful as true quick quote is of no use to us as it is. There is no point asking additional questions after a quick quote has been given if they cannot affect the rating.

This would be a great benefit to us, as certain motor questions are not required for a quote, but are mandatory to be able to go on cover (e.g Driving License No.)

I have just added a new feature request looking at the possibility of having an "On Cover" question set which I feel would be easier to implement and be more useful to us than the pre/post quote option. If quick quote is required it would almost certainly be a better option to create a custom page with a quick quote form and simple Javascript calculation which could then be linked to the quote process for that scheme.

This would be handy as well for the sale/option of additional products to an insurance.

Wanted to offer agreement with Gary on this. Would become particularly useful on motor where clients, once they've seen the base price, could tick on additional covers such as Key Cover, Windscreen Cover, Hire Car etc.

Additionally, not just have the additional questions affect the price and/or premium, but also the ability to run rules.

Optional add ons are becoming more and more important. It would be great to offer them after the first quote has been given. It would be even better to offer them when cover is requested as well.
