What causes a policy to become "locked" ?

    A case is 'locked' when anyone else is viewing it.

    That's what I thought, but that's not what we found.... maybe I will investigate further one day.....

    In the meantime, am I correct in assuming the "lock period" cannot be changed ?

    That's correct the lock period can't be changed.

    Me again... A particular client is complaining about this lock period.  It would seem that they are sitting at the edge of their seats waiting for quotes that need to go on cover IMMEDIATELY.  It would then seem that if they get a phone call whilst waiting for the "lock period" to end they forget to go back to it later and put it on cover... So, is there a reason the lock period is for 15 minutes, could it perhaps be reduced to 5 minutes?  (obviously I will raise a feature request if you think its worth it)

    I am still not totally clear on this lock period to be honest, I would have thought a case would be locked whilst someone is in it but then unlocked as soon as they exit the case ?
