What are the conditions used to determine who gets an email when an agent adds a note?

I sent a note to an agent who replied through the system but I was not notified when they did it.

  Hi Jon,

  The email notification from the agent to you will go to your Contact Us E Mail address as set up in My Company, Website

  Have you checked in there ?

  Hi Jon,

  Just checked that out fully - the email will go to the users that are set up against that Scheme - if there are none then it will go to the Contact Us address
