This would be very usually and prevent a lot of errors.

I have just tried to re create this - changing the Agent Commission in the Agents screen does not effect existing case records. That rate is only read for new business.

So, if an Agent has Commission set at 30% on a Scheme where the standard Commission is 25% the 30% rate will get set.

On that new case record if the Commission is changed from 30% to 32.5% then the next adjustment that is processed will use the 32.5% rate

If on that adjustment the Commission was changed to 35% the next adjustment would use a 35% rate

That would seem to be the correct behaviour.

If the overall Commission for a Scheme is changed in the Agent this will not effect any existing records, only the next new case.

    Hi Colin,

Could you take a look at case number 1802097

The first case has an agents commission of 25% we have just run an adjustment through and the new agent commission of 28% has come through.

Maybe we are doing something wrong

    Kind Regards

    Dee

    Hi Dee,

I think it will best to now take this one off to the ticket system to investigate further - I will need to check you Agent settings etc.

I will raise that ticket for you now.

    Regards

    Colin

We've found a bug here - Agent Commissions on MTA's in single rating are based on the old case record, in multi they get re submitted and it then reads the Agent Commission file again and gets the new value.  It took a long while but we tracked it down!
