Share reports to shared sites

When you're in the 'sharing' tab of a scheme's setup, there's the option to share reports to shared sites. I would expect this to make the reports available on the shared site however this option only lets you create reports on the shared site. 

I would like a new option to make reports on the main site visible to the shared site. Currently we have to manually copy & upkeep every report twice.
