We are currently experiencing network issues. SchemeServe servers themselves appear to be operating, but network connectivity is offline to live and labs.
Engineers are working to resolve the issue.
Issue seems to be related to Load Balancing equipment - engineering works continues.
Rackspace have confirmed this is a failure of their internal network, and NOT a cyber attack. They are unable to provide us with any more information at this time, which I know is frustrating. I will continue to call them every 30 minutes to see what the current status is.
SchemeServe is back online. Our own recovery procedures are in effect while we wait for Rackspace to resolve the network issue. Performance may still be degraded.
This is resolved now. We will be pursue this issue with Rackspace to obtain more detail on the failure so we can mitigate for it in the future.
