Risk Group Insurer field for Reports
Have established today that it is currently not possible to create a column in a report that gives the name of the Insurer of a specific risk group so I think this would be a good feature to include. Something along the lines of [Insurer_RiskGroup_1234] etc...
This would be useful in reports when a risk is split between more than one insurer.

Hi Adam, am I right in thinking this would only work on the initial quote though? ie. if an Underwriter subsequently changed the insurers when underwriting the risk and updated rates it wouldn't run again would it? (this goes back to my feature request for the ability to have some aspects of the rating file run every time the "update rates" button is clicked if it is preceded by a command like "AlwaysRun" etc..)
Could a rule be set up to place the RiskGroup insurer into a hidden text field when the status changed to on cover? if yes, how?

Hi Nicky,
Yes you can set a rule up under Scheme>Any Insurer>Any Type>OnCover
The rule is:
IF Always Run THEN Set Answer MainRiskGroupInsurer To [RiskGroup_123.Insurer.Name]
With 123 being the risk group number and 'MainRiskGroupInsurer' is the hidden text box you set up to capture the details.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Adam
