Automation of claims process - add auto-generated claim status
Hi,
Please can you add a claims status indicator & a claim status changed date to the claims overview tab on Three.ie & Loveit Coverit SchemeServe as illustrated on the claims overview tab on the attached workbook.
Once this has been added please set up some rules so the claims status & status changed date are auto updated as per the actions & rules on the claims status tab, & as illustrated (referenced by colour) on the claims details tab on the attached workbook.
We also need some data capture boxes added as listed on the claims status tab, & illustrated on the claims details tab on the attachment.
These claims statuses will need to be reportable (claims status column added to the dropdown menu in the report editor) as well as all of the date data point on the claims details tab so we can design reports to keep track of the workflow.
We would also like to have all of the claims grouped by their claims status to make it easy to select & view all claims by claims status.
This is so we can work towards a paperless service & do away with our need to keep paper claims files & reduce the need for housekeeping on the claims database on access. The automation reduces risk & makes the entire claims process more efficient.

Further to the above, can we allocate all claims with, for example, a claims status of 'Open - awaiting claim form' to a group called 'Open - awaiting claim form & the make it so we can run a report specifically for that group of claims?

Open -Awaiting claim form
Open - Awaiting documents
Open - Under 1st review
Open - Under 2nd review
Rejected
Open - Awaiting excess
Withdrawn
Open - Awaiting repair / replacement
