I would like you to provide a section on schemeserve where all of the replies to the case notes are stored, it would give direct access to the individual cases and add a completed button to each case note after completed.
That way instead of going through a separate email program I can do it through the system and it would provide an audit of each note that has been completed
This will make it easier to work on tablet devices where I can stay in browser window without keep changing.

Hi John,
Essentially my idea is a dashboard type area in schemeserve which acts like a task manager. It's a go to area for ALL case notes which would be shown in date order with oldest first. The system will show a summary of the case note along with the link to the case and a button for completed tasks. Once the case note has been actioned, the completed task button is presses and it is then removed from the list.
This allows a user to stay within the schemeserve environment at all times and stops problem where case notes could be missed.

I think you may be onto something interesting here Jon. So the current workflow is something like:
- Receive email from SchemeServe containing a note created by one of your Agents (typically a question or instruction to go On Cover or similar).
- Click the link in the email to jump to the Notes tab of the Case.
- Perform the action required if any.
- Go back to Notes to answer.
- --- Have a break to go to lunch, fish and chips maybe. ---
- Come back, look at your inbox, can't remember if you've actioned that email.
- After finding that the email was actioned in SchemeServe, delete/archive the email so you know it's done.
Something like that?
And the idea is... no more email inbox... do everything in SchemeServe from a central Communication area where Tasks or Notifications of some kind are automatically created in addition to the Note needing a reply, so you can tick them completed once the communication/action has been completed, never missing a thing. Emails could be sent to your inbox just to let you know to visit the Communication centre.
Right?

Perfectly correct.
This would create a better workflow. In my office 4 people get all the emails but are in and out of the office at different times of the day so there is sometimes a duplication of work which this will avoid.
You could even go one step further and build a better more usable diary system as part of it.
I think you should pencil this one in as the next feature.
