Just a thought but should we have a place on our home page or once logged in about our cookies policy and how they are used etc?

Hi Ben,

Thanks for the feature request. We have been discussing two ways on how to implement this on SchemeServe and will be making a final decision very soon.

My suggestion until we implement a page into SchemeServe is for you to create a page displaying the cookies that you are using on the site and what you are using them for. Just to point out that if you place any cookies on the site within the custom area yourself, you are responsible for making sure the user knows about them.

A good example of showing which cookies are being used and what they do is on the Money Saving Expert website. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/cookies-qa

There are various websites that talk about cookies and the rights and wrongs of how to deal with the cookie law but all can be read differently from the next so in my personal opinion it is still as much a very grey area.

We have had a info box that pops up when you first visit the site for some time now...
