Using a recurring card payment instead of Direct Debits
We have been asked to administer a scheme in USD!
These clients obviously do not use the DD system, and normally use a recurring card payment instead. Would it be possible to have this type of payment as a monthly option? This functionality could be controlled by the user on the https://myURL.schemeserve.com/schemeserve/admin/schemes/edit.aspx page check boxes.
The monthly payment infrastructure is similar to DD's and a later call is based on the reference generated by the first succesful transaction. Therefore you are not storing the card details (you will need to store the expiry date and last four digits) We would need a method of changing card details on an MTA basis where a payment either fails or the client changes their bank (Normally you would take the o/s invoice or the next month's invoice if no arrears). The other benefit of these types of transactions is the MTA aspect. You do not have to wait 10 days to establish the transaction like you do with DD's.
