Add a Watermark to SchemeServe Documents

I have recently been asked if we could put a watermark on quote and policy documents that would indicate the status of a generated document  such as a statement of facts that had been "referred" for manual quote or a policy wording and schedule generated as a "sample".  

It should also be capable of adding a Company trademark or branding to a letter or other client documents.

Do other users think that some kind of "watermark" editor would be useful within the document editor?
