Make payments made on a case available in reports created by inception.
CompletedIt would be extremely useful to have access to the payments made against a case available in reports other than the transaction report. This would enable us to more easily create statements and run meaningful aged debt reports.

Hi Natalie,
We're looking into adding a column TotalPayments to all CaseRecord reports.
Rob has concerns that the data in this column would have to be for the entire policy due to limitation on the way our data is stored. Would this be a workable solution for you?
Best wishes,
Adam

Hi Adam
I am not sure I understand correctly. Are you saying that, for example:
1st premium = £100 paid
MTA = £50 paid
Renewal of £150 is not paid, but on a report it would show £150 has been
paid (because that was the payment for the First Premium and MTA) ?If that’s the case then no, sadly I don’t think it will help at all.
I started thinking last night that the Aged debt report may help, if we can
remove any criteria that the debt needs to be a certain number of days old.I am not sure what information we can put in an aged debt report though, I
have just tried to create one to see but I cannot create one, I keep
getting an error (ticket 6183 raised).I don’t understand how the different parts of the system work, but this all
seems to work ok now on the Bulk/Agent Payments screen. Can we perhaps have a report that uses that data (but with more fields) ?
I will see how I get on with the age debt report when it is working.
But I wonder if Rob could look into reporting off the Agent Payments info.
I will catch up with you soon
Cheers
Natalie

Hi Natalie,
The concerns I raised in this ticket were from before we sorted out the aged debts to work on a record by record basis.
The long and short of it is that there is now a new column (live) called Record Payments.
It's the sum total of ALL payments tied to a case so will include any successful refunds as well as payments. Thanks,
Rob.
