If I turn off an insurer in the scheme editor will it wipe out all the information attached to that insurer, rates, endorsments, etc?

  Hi Jon!

  Yes, it will wipe anything that is accessed via an Insurer dropdown, so there are certainly some destructive effects.  If you're concerned, the best way to approach this would be to rename the insurer instead to something like 'Insurer Name (DO NOT USE)'
