What is the time frame for the site 'timing out' during a quote?

I seem to get logged out over night but cannot work out if there is a timeout during the day.  Sometimes I have been logged out and other times I can stay logged in for ages.

Is the time out for being logged in the same as the time out during getting a quote?

  Hi Natalie,

  For security reasons your SchemeServe session will time out after 1 hour - usually!

  Any traffic at all will prevent the session being ended, including AJAX requests (background requests to the server which are sent by SchemeServe sometimes even when you don't click anything).

  In some areas of SchemeServe - such as the Questions area of Get Quote - there are AJAX requests sent periodically which result in the session length being extended, though a list of all these pages is unfortunately not available.

  Unfortunately not... the flipside of protecting your account from hackers is in this case that logins have to be refreshed regularly.
